• Powers; Gypsies are a lot like witches when it comes down to being able to cast spells and even brew potions. Gypsy magick is often referred as the sister craft of witchcraft. Gypsies may cast spells, brew potions, and have the power of clairvoyance, although some are limited to simply doing palm readings. Cass is able to cast spells as well as brew potions. Although her vision doesn't seem to be as strong as her mother's yet, Cass also has the power of clairvoyance. Gypsies are often associated with strong, very powerful, curses. While Cass is able to cast spells, and some curses, this is something she tries to avoid doing since she wants no part in that part of the world.

• About Me; Firstly, I think I should probably say this about myself: I do not like my first name, at all. So I go by my middle name, Cassadie, which people tend to shorten to just Cass. I know people are all like 'be proud of your heirtage blah blah blah', but they aren't stuck with a name people read as jail. Besides, I'm plenty proud when I want to be! Anyways, up until like last year, I lived with my mom and our, her, people. We traveled all over the place. But since mom wanted me to get my education thing on, she sat down and told me about my father, and how she contacted him so that I could stay with him through college. To tell you the truth I was pretty PO'ed about that whole affair.
I may miss being with my mom and the people we called family, but getting a taste of every day life, for every day people, has made me wish I was just like them. I know better then to denounce my heirtage, and while I don't mean to completely do that, I can't help wanting to be away from the spell casting and brewing way of life I had always known. So about my dad, he wasn't exactly thrilled that I would be staying with him, especially since he and his wife had just had my baby brother like three months before hand, but I think he's come around now. Especially since he's been using me like a free babysitter for a while now...
My mom is currently in France, and occassionally she calls, but really, you can't expect a gypsy to be that frequent in calling, or really any form of communications. Just way too much to do in one day, I suppose. But enough about my family. I really only have one more thing to say, good grief I can't wait to graduate from college. I'm not even sure if I'm going to be able to make it. I may want a more normal life, but I'm not sure if I can just stay in one place for long. It's killing me doing that now.
