LIKES: Marly has always been a fan of all kinds of music1. She always loves her flip flops2 and sun glasses3, and is seen wearing them more then frequently. Marly simply loves animals4, with elephants5 being her favorite animal out there. While most women enjoy the wonderfully chocolately tastes of a candy bar, Marly finds herself more drawn to the sweet, sour, hard candy6, like jolly ranchers, or war heads. She adores fruit flavored smoothies7 and tends to get random cravings for them. Though her closet is filled with colorful things, Marly really prefers lighter colors like green8 and orange9. While she has never played any sports, she enjoys watching baseball10 and football11, although she doesn't really follow football all that well. A talent she always liked having but never sharing was her singing12 voice.
DISLIKES: There are many things in Marly life that she dislikes, hates, and even fears, like spiders1, or even rioting fruits2 that she could have used to make her fruit smoothie. For some reason, Marly has always been claustrophobic3, just the idea of being in a small space made her nervous. Traveling long distances in a car4, Marly finds rather distasteful. Whats up with people eating cute animals5, like bunnies and squirrels? Did they not have enough of the normal food or something? Beef6 was something she couldn't stomach, never have never would. Something she never could figure out was why woman insulted their own gender7 instead of defending themselves against that of the male gender. Just didn't make any sense to her sensible mind. While Marly isn't necessarily afraid of heights8, she doesn't particularly like it. One thing that gets under her skin is traffic hour9 when it gets so backed up it takes like an hour to get somewhere that was only ten minutes away. When you call her once, please don't repetitively call10 hoping she'll pick up one of those times, one is enough really. Just leave a message!
COMMON KNOWLEDGE: It is pretty well known that Marly has a little trouble keeping her words to herself. Not like its something she could hide, but being overly blunt is something everyone should know, if not they will soon enough, promise! It is also well known that Marly is a half-blood, and if you have a problem with that she'll probably teach you a lesson or two. She's always sticking up for her friends, and those who just can't seem to stick up for themselves.
BOGGART: Marly has a sever case of claustrophobia. This means that she can not stand being in small, enclosed spaces. When she is caught in a small space, she starts have trouble breathing and begins to have a panic attack. If she doesn't pass out, she tends to get very nauseous, which is not a pretty sight. During the whole time she becomes quit clamy and cold sweat begins to form on her brow. While Marly isn't exactly sure how this case came about, she has been told that it was because when she was younger she had been locked in a small toy chest for a few hours. Her family couldn't find her and Marly had been to young and scared to even scream for help. When she finally was found, Marly had already passed out. She woke up in a hospital, and ever since Marly has avoided small spaces like it was the plague.
PATRONUS: Marly's patronus is a swan.Swans are very beautiful, like she herself is. However a swan can be aggressive, just as Marly can be.
AMORTENTIA: Apples; The smell of apples takes her back to when her grandparents were alive and had owned a apple orchard
OVERALL PERSONALITY: After sixteen years of breathing the earths fine air, Marly has gone through so much to have gotten where she is today. As with many, her personality has changed as she matured through the years. What hasn't changed is her sweet nature. While she has a certain feisty flair, Marly cares deeply for the people in her life. She knows that she can't help everyone, but she tries to do her best. When she was younger, perhaps around four or so, Marly would bring home stray animals. This would drive her mother crazy, but Marly would continue to do so. She simply could not leve a poor lonely kitten alone, could she? Marly had a special kind of bravery, the kind that tended to get her into more accidental trouble then she cared to count, or remember.
With this she could fight the dragon that was her neighbor's dog as it was barking and trying to bite her. Or how she climbed up as far as she could only to remember just how scared of heights she was and ended up being stuck in the tree until she heard her best friend getting bullied and she rushed back down to help him out. Marly has never been a shy person and while she can be rather blunt, she withholds herself from the people she mets. She doesn't trust easily, and if you break her trust she'll never trust you again. While she is not a ditz, she does have her 'blond' moments.
When she was younger, Marly was always close to her family. However when her older brother Ryan got accepted into Hogwarts, things started turning tospy turvy. Then when she herself was accepted and her twin sister not, things went farther upside down. Marly and Belinda Nicolette had always been close, always sharing everything together, that is up until Marly went to hogwarts without her sister. Now, they are simply polite to each other, after all the years had seprated them dearly. Belinda had blamed Marly for Ryan's death, although Marly had tried explaining to her the dangers that were going on in the wizarding world. After his death, Belinda was more open about how much she disliked her twin and how she hated the magical world. Patrica, Marly's mother, had never come out and said she didn't like her daughter being a witch, but Marly had noticed her mother becoming more distant with her.
Marly has a mouth, pure and simple. While she isn't mean by any means, she does have a habit of not thinking before she talks. Marly likes to joke around and say that her filtering system is broken. She certainly has a lot of fire in her, never willing to admit defeat.

OVERALL HISTORY: Marly was born to Patrica Elizabeth McKinnon and Tyler Eric McKinnon in the United States of America, in the state of Georgia and the town of Savannah. She was the third child born, although she was born a twin. Her twin sister, Belinda Nicolette McKinnon was born a good ten minutes before Marly. The McKinnon's had also had a son, Ryan Kevian McKinnon, who was roughly about two years older then the girls. While most of their relatives lived in England, the McKinnon hadn't minded being so far from them. The had a nice life and great friends. Patrica was a journalist for a small paper company, and her husband, Tyler, was a science fiction author, and dern good one at that. Growing up in Savannah, Marly and her twin sister were notorious for bring home small animals, 'rescueing' them from a fate worse then....well at the time they weren't sure what was worse then what. Their brother had always been the one who ended up rescueing them from the baby animal's mama birds, who happened to be mad at the girls from taking their young away.
When the girls where about nine years old, their brother recived an letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. While the family hadn't moved at that time, they did allow their young son to go off to the school that was located in britian. They promised that they would be moving up as well, but it may take them some time to find a place to live. About a year later, at ten, Marly and the rest of the family moved to England. While they hadn't found a place to live, they wanted to be closer to Ryan then they were. They ended up staying with their grandmother, Charolette, and their cousins, Celeste and Prysilla. Celeste and Prysilla had lost their parents in a car accident and had been forced early on to live with their grandmother.
When Marly, Belinda, and Celeste were all eleven, Marly and Celeste reviced letters of acceptance into Hogwarts. The two were estatic, however Belinda's additude put a hamper on things. Belinda was angry that her twin and cousin had been accepted into Hogwarts, but she herself had not. This had started the drifting apart of the sisters and the closeness of cousins. Promising to write Belinda everyday, Marly and Celeste were off to their first year of hogwarts. Marly had been sorted into the Gryffindor house while her cousin had been sorted into the Ravenclaw house.
Sometime after Ryan graduated from Hogwarts, he was attacked by dark wizards and murdered. Many believe that this is because of his half-blood status. When Belinda found out about Ryan's death, she was sure that it was because of Marly. Ryan had been the brother both had always loved, and the only thing that kept both girls from blowing up at each other. After his death Belinda made it no secret on how much she hated her sister and hated the magical ralem. Patrica, though she would always love her daughter, had become weary of the magical world and had begged Marly to return home and to go back to the school. It was her father, a pure-blood wizard himself, that helped her stay at Hogwarts.

She said sweetly with a smile. ' Now just fool him into believeing your like all those other helpless princesses at the school and than pounce!' She thought to herself, mentally smirking. From her tone she was hoping that he would think that she didn't remember him at all, although really, who could forget a guy like him, especially by the way they met. " You're from Anderson Academy right? I think I've seen you already." She made idle conversation, all the while silently searching for something that could settle the score. Really, she knew she should let it go, but she had been waiting years to get him back. Now if mudd would appear, or something else, anything else, she'd be golden. She was in the least squimish about things found in nature like many of the girls she knew, perhaps because she use to be such a tom-boy...Echo rarely forgot anything that had her fired up like what happened about five or so years ago. She was in middle school, and of course she hadn't quite grown into her body, making her look fairly akward. Echo didn't like to think about her middle school years too often because they were just terrible. Nothing good could ever happen when one was inbetween being a kid and a teenager, which was practically like being an adult. The infamous pie incident had happened in seventh grade, and she had never forgiven the boy who seemed to be incharge of it. Echo kept her face relaxed, instead of narrowing her eyes and glareing at him. No need to let him know that she still hadn't forgotten, or forgiven, him for what happened. No she wanted some kind of revenge, even if people say that revenge isn't as sweet as it sounds.
" Well as least you aren't a bear."
Echo took a step or two away from him as she talked. Despite the desire to get him back, Echo wasn't blind. He was an attractive guy, but that wouldn't save him, not one bit. Long ago she decided that looks wouldn't stand in her way of whatever it is she was planning on doing. If she let just any cute guy persuade her to stop what she was doing and do what he wanted, she'd be ruined, and she was sure her father would about kill her. He still held beliefs that she was a five year, only he wanted to see her married, but that was whatever.
Since her mother's death that's about all he seemed to be into, trying to find some guy for her to be with. Not for the sexual stuff, because that would be a little distrubing, but just so she would be set for the rest of her life with a rich guy. He'd prefer if the guy was an in-the-closest-homosexual, but he wasn't counting his breathe for that, which was good because even she had urges, though yet unexplored. She hated to be the one to inform her father of what her plans were for her future, since they didn't include marriage. She wanted a career, something to keep her busy and happy. She just wasn't sure what that was as of yet. University would help her discover what that career just might be. She knew she would be going too, because her father had yet to find a guy for her that he liked enough to give her away too. If she was lucky, Echo wouldn't have to say a word to him, just let things fall as they may. All she needed to do was scare off any guy her father was thinking about and soon he'd give up, or at least she hoped he would. Persistant booger he was.
