Centuries ago there was a young girl, Ceclia Morgannah, who roamed the world. She had roamed the earth from the beginning. She watched people, animals, so many other things, come and go. She herself was ageless, stuck with the appearance of a seventeen year old. It was her curse, the curse God had put on her because of her parents, you might know them as Adam and Eve. They took a bite of the forbidden fruit and forever doomed their children to roam the earth, alone.

Ceclia watched as her two older brothers, Raphael and Leonardo began to lash out. Though the change was slow to be sure, Raphael and Leonardo became darker and darker. Through experiments and spells, the two became the first of two new species. Vampires and Lycans, which would be later refered to as were-wolves.

The blood lust snuck up on Raphael quickly, and he had no way to control it. He went on a streak, killing many mortals who dared to step in his path. Covering up his trail began the wide spread panic of plagues. His brother, Leonardo, too went on a killing spree. Unable to control his wolf urges. Ceclia sat back and watched, not sure what she could do to stop her brothers. Ceclia tried to fade into the dark, however she feel in love.

Knowing she couldn't be with him, and convinceing herself to leave him before things got too deep, and one of them got hurt, were two different things. Not wanting to leave him, she decided to stay with him for as long as she could. Ceclia found herself pregnant, and gave birth to twins, one boy and one girl. They were one years old when her brothers found out about them, before the unthinkable happened.

Raphael found Ceclia and her family first, and when he did he drunk deeply from her lover. This time however, unlike all his other victims, her lover changed. He lost his soul and became the first ever changed vampire. Ceclia felt as though she had truely lost him, and in a way she did. While Raphael and her lover, Jayson, went to the local village to fed, she took her children and ran.

Leondaro and Raphael teamed up to find them, and when they did, they fed off of Ceclia, figureing that she would turn into each of them. They did not account for their bites to be poisonous to Ceclia, whose body could not handle the two poisons fighting for control. She died as Jayson entered the scene. Angry he fled, leaving the children to watch their mother bleed out.

Blameing each other, Raphael and Leonardo began to fight. Ceclia's children grew and had children of their own. Throughout the decades brought more descandants of Ceclia. Raphael and Leonardo discovered that only those with a touch of Ceclia's blood in them could be turned. Over the years her branch began to spread out, and coming upon one with her blood was becoming easier and easier. It seemed as time went on, there were more out there. Raphael and Leonardo, wanting to destroy one another began to build their armies up by turning those that could be turmed.

Port Harbor, North Carolina, was a small town with many secrets, includeing a growing number of immortals. Unbeknownest to the mortals in the town, Port Harbor was fastly becoming a battle ground, perhaps even the last battle ground. After all, who would really miss such a small town as this? Where the locals gossiped and secrets can't be kept?
