Witches on this site don't go to a school like Hogwarts, or have a wizarding world such as that. In fact, it is a known fact that here, if your considered a wizard, that means your considered a traitor to your coven of witches. Male or Female can be considered a witch, and just like that, male or females can be considered a wizard. While they are not immortal, they do have a longer life than the mortals around. The oldest witch known was about 150 years old!
Witches are pretty much connected with nature, the universe. They believe in multipal gods, like the Goddess of the Moon and such.They also believe in reincarnation. Being connected to nature, they know a lot of herbal recipes that can help with many things such as any kind of aches and breaks. Yes they do most of their brewing over a cauldran, but that only makes it that much powerful and useful!
As far as powers go outside of the spells and potions area, each witch dabbles in all the elements, however they are generally the strongest at one element. They can manipulate an element to do their will, but being one with nature, can be a little reserved in their gifts. Belonging in a coven of witches is very important. A coven is a strong hold, and intensifies ones gifts when with a coven. The most powerful covens have twelve members total, but twelve isn't needed for all covens!
To be considered a wizard, one you had to have been a witch in the first place, and two said witch would have had to dabble in the darker arts, hurting those around them, or causing sever harm to the earth. Once your considered a wizard, your pretty much outcasted by the whole of the witch community, and getting supplies is that much harder since no one will sell to you. Very rarely are wizards returned to the status of witch again.

-------------------------------- [/b][/blockquote] Sorry to those out there who are under the belief that if a vampire steps out into the sun, that they sparkel. I hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but vampires do not sparkel in the sun, they burn to a pile of ashes, never to be seen again. As we all should know by now, vampires have no souls, so please don't try to pull a Buffy Angel Spike moment here. They can not be cursed to have their souls back and still be a vampire. Once a vampire, sorry to say, the only way you not be a vampire is if you turn into a pile of ashes, meaning someone slayed you.
I read somewhere that some people think vampires can get turn if they have silver shoved into them. Vampires are not weak against silver, although the having it plunged into their bodies might hurt a bit considering that its being plunged into their bodies! Things that can kill a vampire is a stake to the heart, the sun, fire, sever blood lose, head coming off body. Vampires have excelerated healing. Drugs do not effect vampires, and alcohol pretty much just passes through them.
Vampires are immortal, but they can be killed, its just hard to do. They are incrediably strong, are very fast, have heightened sinces. Not every single one of them is beautiful, although there are a lot who could fall into the catagory of drop dead sexy. They can not enter a persons mind and make them think what they want to think, sorry to say. And they can not turn into bats. They have no extra powers other than what a vampire would have on its own.
As for turning witches, since they are so intuned with nature, they see vampirism as an act against nature. This means that if someone tries to turn them, they will kill themselves. Absolutely no one can apply as a witch who turned into a vampire and there for has their witch powers. If somehow a witch does stay a vampire, their powers as a witch are lost to them forever.
Vampires are very loyal to Raphael. Raphale is the very first vampire, and there the oldest.

-------------------------------- [/b][/blockquote] The wolves here aren't like the wolves on such movies as Cursed. Think Blood and Chocolate. They actually look just like a normal wolf. What makes them difference is that they do have heighten everything. They have the super-human strength and speed. While they aren't as strong as the vampires, they can give them a run for their money, as they have been doing. Wolves can heal fast, however no where near as fast as the vampires.
Wolves are immortal, but they can die in most of the ways a normal human can. Like dieing in a fire, car accident, if the wound is sever enough. It general takes a lot for wolf to die like a human. Like a whole lot. The most common way to kill a wolf is useing silver, as silver does have a very big effect on the wolves.
For turning a witch, its the same as it is with the vampires. Witches see the were wolves as a act against nature, but they are more likely to allow the change to happen to them instead of killing themselves because wolves in general are a part of nature. Like being turned into a vampire, if turned into a were-wolf, their witch powers does leave them.
Were-Wolves are loyal to Leonardo. Leonardo is the very first were-wolf, and there for the oldest one.

-------------------------------- [/b][/blockquote] This should be brief and short. Humans are not nor can they turn into witches. As for turning into vampires and werewolves, a human must have a drop of Ceclia's blood to be turned. I will be the one to determine who can be turned and who can't based on how many vampires and werewolves we have. Stated before if your character is biten or scratched or whatever by a vampire or a were-wolf you must send me the link to the thread so I can determine if you are changed. You can leave me your input on the matter if you like and that will be taken into consideration.
The humans here are from Port Harbor, although we certainally can have people who just moved to the town Humans can die very easily, seeing as they are only mortals. When you think of a human think of yourself or your friends. We don't have heightened sinses or super-human strength. It is fairly easy to kill a human.
