Jean is smart, intelligent. She's reserved. She's kind to everyone. When the Phoenix over took Jean, she became evil and all powerfull, something she'd feared from the beginning.

Jean Grey was born to proud doctor parents. She grew up in a averge home in a decent sized neighborhood. When she was 11, she and her best friend, Stacy were outside playing when a car suddenly hit Stacy. Jean's power then awoken and she was forced to share minds with Stacy as she died. Jean tried to fix her, but her friend told her not to, that she would never be whole again if she did. Jean was able to return to her body seconds before she actually died.

With that experinces, Jean became sucluded and kept to herself. Her powers growing ever stronger. When Professor Xavier and Professor Eric came to recruit her to their new school, she went along, thinking they could help her. Years passed and she was able to control her powers more.The Xavier having put a barrier against her strongest powers without her knowledge, Jean was able to lead a semi normal life. She fell in love with Scott Summers and later married him.

When Jean was swallowed by the lake water trying to save her friends, the power the Professor so feared awakened full force, and threw up a barrier around Jean to protect her. A Year later, having been thought dead, Jean awoken. Jean was no longer the Jean Grey they all knew and love, she was now the Phoenix. She called out to Scott, and when he came, she killed him.

When the others arrived on scene, there was no body of Scott, but the body of Jean was there. Checking her vital signs, Storm and Logan brought her back to the mansion for medical care. When she came to, she escaped the mansion and went back to herself. Xavier, Storm, and Logan following in suit. Along with the members of the brotherhood. It was there that Jean finished off the professor and Eric got her to join his forces.

In the final battle, Jean was killed by Logan. A year or so has passed, and she has returned. The Phoenix never dies. This time, instead of the dark Phoenix, she was a lighter Phoenix. The nicer verison of her. It was like she was still herself, but with more power.

Jean Grey wondered through the enempty halls of the Mansion. It was the middle of the night, and so no one was up. She had come of her own accord to check on how things were going. She knew she wouldn't be accepted back into the X-Men ranks after what happened a year ago.

She sighed as walked past her old room she shared with Scott. She missed him so much. He was her other half. Jean walked past the room, she didn't want to dwell on old memories. She wanted to check on cerebro. Make sure it was still working soundly. She knew they would need it soon. Weather there was someone here to use it, was beyond her, but she knew they would need it.

She didn't get far when she was stopped by a shenk sound. She turned slightly and saw, in the shadows, Wolverine. Her breath caught. " Logan... Its Jean." Was all she said.
